A return to the diner...my most favorite and most interesting (to me) of all the places you've shot.
This is the Blue Plate Special

Sam, I with Sheila on this. Your diner shots always made me jealous. The way you give us just a little information in the image is what is most intriguing. I totally get it. I like the brightness in this without being over exposed. Very tricky and pulled off well.

This shot really intrigues me - I would never have thought of trying that angle but it really works. It's a timeless classy image.
Now, I'm just wondering what the ladies attached to those feet thought about you down on the floor with your camera?

Sam, I like this a lot. the higheky treatment is great, with the shiny metal and white space. My eye is drawn to the lady's shoe and my mind wonders what she is thinking/doing/eating. nice image.
I'm with nancy - what's the weird photographer doing down there on the floor...

I'm guessing you shot this angle while sitting in the booth across the aisle
Great eye Sam. Possibly needs to be straightened since it seems to be tilting to the left. Unless that was your intention

Hi Sam,
I'm gonna echo the praise for the highKey look here. I love the transition from overly bright to just very bright. Tones here are good and I think that's a tough proposition when you've overexposed somewhat.
I'm a bit undecided about the inclusion of the two seat bottoms at top right as they hold my attention a tad but cropping down to remove them cramps the shot top left.
Love the high key look!

Thanks Nancy, Rob, and Darren. Nothing as obvious as crawling on the floor. I placed the camera on my leg (sitting in a chair) and shot blindly. It took a few shots to get what I wanted (-:
Thanks Ruth. I wanted to straighten the shot, but I would have had to crop a bit too much, so I left it the way it was. Thanks for the comment.
