Lake Nockamixon, Nockamixon State Park, Bucks County, PA. I had finished shooting the sunrise at the marina images (one of which I entered last week) and my wife and I were headed to Vera's (a local breakfast place) for a Mother's Day breakfast. But it was early and we had about 30 minutes until Vera's opened. So I headed down one of the other boat access roads to the lake, saw this light and just had to stop and make a few images.

Ed, this is a composition many would have missed. I like it quite a bit. The tease of the lake through the trees draws me into the image. I might consider upping the saturation of the green a bit.

Besides the detail in the trees the best thing for me is the subtle shadings throughout. Quiet earth tones with beautiful, dappled, early light.

Ed,
Very nicely captured. The light through the trees is excellent. I'm a little swiss on Buddy's greens suggestion, but I do find myself wanting just a slight crop in from the left to throw the front tree just a bit more off center. What do you think?
