A little juxtaposition of child and adult play, of water and sand, of sand and sky...Great Sand Dunes National Park, CO.

An interesting composition. I like the diagonal line created by the hikers. I hiked to the top of that big dune once; never again ugh.

I like shot CE. But, in my humble opinion, I think the water is a distraction. The line of people going up the sand dune is your subject. My eye goes to the objects in the water. I don't usually critique, but I think the composition would be awesome without the water.

Thanks Bozzzzzzzzzzz & Don...I've done a fair number of shots that featured dunes & people here; this was the first time that Medano Creek was flowingl, which gave me some reflections to play with. I saw that different ages of folks were enjoying the place in entirely different ways. Tell you what, Don, after your comment I've looked at cropping to a portrait format of the right-hand side of the image..eliminating the toys...and that looks pretty good!

What an interesting scene, Ce. I have to agree with Don: Without the water it would be awesome.
