These were taken last night ..12.28.03..before the clouds rolled in....I used the Nikon 4500 and a webcam trying different methods.

This image is from a webcam and I tried different frame/sec shots and then combined them


This is a combination of two sets of stacked pics....the first was overexposed to allow the moons to be seen and the second was properly exposed for saturn.....the camera is the Nikon 4500


Saturn and a webcam at 5fps...I'd read that the lower fps settings give better overall definition....I didn't see a noticeable difference between 5/10/or 15fps

This was the webcam at 640 X 480


This is from the 640 group of images but reprocessed and then doubled within the K3CDDT program


This is from the Nikon 4500...I used it as a webcam and just captured the video output from the camera on my computer....not shot using the video mode in the 4500 ...I think I'll try the "video" mode within the camera next and see if it will get better definition.

WOW!
That looks so much fun. I'd so like to watch one of these pics being made. Shame I live in the UK. Keep posting Budd - I love looking at them and hearing about how the pictures were made.
