Useful software – non photo related -
I’m not usually a big fan of add-on software but I recently downloaded the Alexa Toolbar
And I have been pleasantly surprised as it offer’s the following and does it all very well
- Blocks pop-up ads
- Easy access to independent stats for almost every web site
- Has a built-in search box
- Shows what’s related - this is one of my favorites it automatically show you sites with similar content to the page you are currently on note: bytephoto has not been online long enough to have alexa who’s related stats yet hopefully soon
- Easy reference to just how popular a web site really is

Ad-ware?
This looks like a really great program, but is it one of those that my security program blocks because it tracks your actions from another location? I have tried to get rid of all of those as they say people can steal credit card info and such by coming in from the ad-ware location?
Do you know about that issue with this program? I try not to get rediculous about it and at the same time stay safe.
I hope it is ok, love the program.
