This is my first try at this object. It is in the constellation of Orion, on the eastern star of the belt.
Equipment is Celestron 8"....fastar lens....MX5C camera.....this was 40@45sec. stacked and then processed. This is an LRGB file...where the luminance channel is replaced for added definition.

Great shot, I recognise the horse head. Never knew that these kind of pictures could be made with a Celestron. I own a small Bresser telescope (114 mm) but I've never been able to make pictures like that.
