Wanna help me out ? Suggestions ?

Hi I'm kind of new to a lot of Photography stuff .
I photo mostly concerts indoors .
What I wondering is if somebody (anybody ) can get me some suggestions on what camera setting would be best to get the best results (like manual setting for my camera ) ?

I use a Canon EOS Digital Rebel 300D .
The lens I bought for the low lightning at the concerts is a Tamron SP AF XR DI 28-75mm 1:2.8 .

This is probably the best and fastest F stop I could get with my budget . I know a fastest F stop would be great . Any suggestions on that . It would probably have to be a fixed lens to get any faster , correct ?

ALWAYS GO FOR F2.8. I LIVE BY IT! I SHOOT IN A LOT OF CONCERT HALLS. YOU WILL FIND THAT YOU DEPTH IS KNARLY.....UHHH NEVERMIND. HAHA. HAVE FUN!
