Pano of Andromeda....
This is a Panorama of the Andromeda galaxy (M31). Here is the first with the six shots lined up.
and this is the final with the different layers adjusted to match in Photoshop:
I thought I'd taken enough pictures but looks like I need a few more to finish out the sides....oh well....I'm learning
The other little galaxy to the upper right is M110.

Budguinn, what kind of equipment did you use (I mean the telescope) and how did you attach your cp5700?
BTW, looks great, do you have more pictures like these?

Hi Raaf......
the telescope is a Celestron Ultima 2000 8" schmitt cassselgrain.....
the camera for this shot was an astro camera....Starlight Express MX5C one shot color....
when I use the 5700 I use a scopetronix max view 40 adapter
I'm also learning to use a webcam...toucam....with the scope.
The telescope has the ability with the "fastar" lens assembly...an option...of turning the scope from an F10 scope to an F1.95. This gives a scope that is, according to the literature, 25 times faster....and it gives a field of view that is five times wider. Even with the wide field I had to take multiple shots to get all of the andromeda galaxy in.. (in fact I need to take a few more to get it all)
I'm still learning on the processing to squeeze as much detail out of the image as possible and to get the colors right.
