I do a bit of handcrafting, well it's my life now really, I probably don't need to say too much here, you can look at my gallery and my website.
My website is bad.... anyone any suggestions and please bear in mind at the moment resources are limited.
Edita

Edita,
I've had a quick look at your website and have two remarks:
1) on many pictures, your model misses het feet. Try to make complete pictures (including feet)
2) I get error messages when accessing your web site.

A couple of things that standout pretty quickly
1) you are hosting at geocities that’s a big turn off for me especially since your intentions for your site are commercial in nature … buy your domain name and get yourself a small web space of your own so that your url can be something more like www.vestlanda.com
2) I find the background is distracting me from what should be the focal point and that is your merchandise
There are lot of good webs devoted to webmasters with tons of great information … I’m at work now …. But when I get home I have some bookmarked on my personal computer that I’ll post for you

Hi
I agree with the comments already posted, the domain is available and hopefully you should be able to register it and host it for around $8 per month, (I did a quick search and found this one, although there are plenty to find! and the cheapest is not neccesary the best !! http://www.ipowerweb.com )
I must add the brightly coloured text is also distracting, it sometimes is much better to have a constant theme through out the site, ie same background image/colour and similar layout, tables are quite useful to achieve this, what web authoring program do you use?
Regards
Mike

I also agree with others....
about consistency throughout your site. I think it would be better to have plain instead of textured backgrounds, I found myself staring at that red one....quite hypnotic :-)
Also, some of the photos are a bit small so you may want to create thumbnails which link to a larger photo detailing your work. In one case you have a white crocheted dress against an almost all white background. Those hats are neat, btw.
Good luck, I'm just starting to learn how to publish web pages to my hosted site. I have about 1% knowledge on how to create them myself!
