to "align pics by something" in the whole bytephoto's gallery, just like you can align images in idividual gallerys.

Per example, I'd like to see images that got 10 and align them by number of views.

Feasible?

Now, when you click at the link "gallery", you get images aligned by "date", would it be that hard to make a link to the same page which sorts a database by "rating, views".

That works only to "align by views" in the galleries, not individual pictures. Per example, which gallery has most views. I'd like to see "best" images, just like recent images on the front page.

Here's something I did. However, it all depends on who rated the photo. There are some worth the 10 and others no way near. Look for yourself... there's quite a list

A few suggestions.

First one could be easily done, just add ",views" to the end of SQL select to sort all rated as 10 by number of views. That should take care of unfairly rated 10s, as you noticed.

Second one would need a little more programming. Let me explain. Per example, there are 1000 pictures rated as 10 but beyond 100th picture, all are false tens. A solution? Easy. Retrieve from the database all rating values, 10, 9.68, 9.44, ...., and when I wan't, I simply skip to next lower rated list of pictures but with much more views. Usually, those are better than higher rated with less views. Then you could play to sort by number of votes, prioritizing those with higher rating AND more views.

What do you think?

To summarize, sort by rating, nr. of votes, views and allow skipping to a first lower rated group.
