A80

I just placed an order for the new A80 from B Hcamera. Will be sent overnight. Price was $369. Sure hope i can ask all of you in this group for help if i need any.(and i will) I just wanted to get away from nikon and the trouble that comes with them.Poor service and so on.Thanks for takeing the time to read this.Picnet

Hey pcinet.. I had an old nikon coolpix 995 that has always performed wonderful. However I changed to Canon too for my DSLR.

Dollar for dollar, I think the 10D offers more than the D100. Since I didn't have any glass yet the change was painless.

My new Canon 10D is a great camera. I believe Canon has been more serious on their involvement of digital protography than Nikon. they get to the market first with good products and keep a well integrated system. Besides, I think Canon consumer lenses offers more features, options and better perfornace that Nikon consumer lenses. Nikon has superb lenses on the pro market, but then so does Canon.

Canon customer service is not characterized for being extremely responsive though. Good luck with your A80 and please share those pics with us!

Icarusfree; Thank you yery much for reading my post. I think i made the wright the move. My nikon cameras were down more than up! The best luck has and still is the 4300. I hope people like you can and will help if i need any.Thanks picnet
