sizing for sale
Hi Darren,
I've had to work around the "standard frame size issue also. I've found that 16x20 frames will very nicely display a 10x15 print (actually size the long side for 15, let the other side fall off normally) and do the math for the mat. Or I have it, email me.
Square crops can sit nicely in that frame size also, heavy weighted at the bottom.
18x24 frames hold nicely a 12x 18 print (again, size the long side for 18, it falls off somewhere around 11.98 or so). It really does not have to be spot on. And heavy weight the bottom of the mat by 1/4 inch or so. Never mat exactly the same size top and bottom, because framed, it gives the allusion of sitting to low in the frame.
Again, email me, or call (easier.... email, I'll give you my number) if I can be of help.
Carolym
BTW CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!
