Thumbs down whats wrong with my horrible camera now?

I just charged my battery and now all of a sudden I try to turn my computer on it flashes and say theirs no battery in it? I take it out put it back and the same message! Does anyone know whats wrong?

What a horrible camera it has giving me nothing but trouble since i got it!

I ONLY got it a year ago! Can the battery already be ruined? Ive charged it like 3 times in total!

I'd suggest start with the simplest things first - the batteries. Make sure they're in correctly, which you probably have already done. If so, then make sure they can still hold a charge. Rechargeable batteries fail over time, particularly if they aren't used. If you can find a set of alkalines (and your camera uses AAs), give those a try.

Hope you can figure it out!

It's the Battery

I think it's the battery that has the problem. you can try to buy a standard AA in your grocery store like energizer, then try it on in your Camera. If it still say that it's low bat then somehow there is a problem with the power consumption of the camera which is most likely never happens unless you can feel that your camera is heating up faster. This means that somewhere in your board has a short circuit with low resistance that causes the temperature increase....

Most probably it's the rechargeable battery of yours.
