Beginner looking for nice camera
hey im starting to get into photography a little bit mostly landscapes day and night, car/automobile shots, and sports...i was looking into the a720is. I'm looking for somthing in the under $210 range with a nice p-s and also has manual settings and a camera i can learn on to do with more than just p-s. Any input would be appreciated thanx

Wynn's given you some great links. The best I can say is to check out those reviews. I haven't used the a720, but I do have an a540 and used to have an a70. I like them for their balance between p&s and manual control. The manual controls are easy enough to learn.
On the down side, it's difficult to get a limited depth of field on any shot where the subject isn't very close to the camera. But that may be different on the more advanced a720.

First off thanx for the links...
I checked out the reviews and now am stuck between the a720is and sx100is as the other 2 are a little bit over my budget range that i was going for. So if anyone has experience with these 2 cameras id appreciate input on how both of these match up against each other. thanx
