Like Steve mentioned, you can form clubs on the site he mentioned, which I am a member at as well. It would be another way of keeping in touch with each other if things fell here. I would definately miss the support and guidance of the community of photographers here.

I'm getting some indication that the address I posted isn't working for everyone. If you've sent me an email at that address and don't see your name in the list send me a pm on byte with your address and I'll compile those as well. I'll update the list in this thread as needed.

An edit to admit that I mistyped the address the second time I posted it. It has been corrected now but for those that may already have saved it I'd like to post it correctly again. It is 0therstu44@sbcglobal.net. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.

As I admitted in my pm to you I mistook your initial response to this thread as an opt in. In rereading the entire thread I can see that you did not actually agree with or perhaps even see the subsequent posts that made the intention clear. I thought I was doing something worthwhile but I can see that my implementation lacked rigor and certainty. My sincerest apologies to you for what I'm assuming feels like a violation and an abuse of trust. What makes this worse for me is that I consider you a friend and I feel that I may have put that in jeopardy. No excuses, just my admittance that I didn't verify that you were on board and I should have.

I want to thank all of the members that pulled together and keep POTW going during the recent turn of events .. Stephen had been handling the site ... And I was unaware of the difficulties ... and sincerely hope that all is ok as I have not had any recent contact with him .. But there is NO worry of byte going offline

I do have a tendency to fret, especially about interpersonal relationships. I'm relieved that my mistake hasn't frayed our friendship.
