I have a suggestion???

How about we get rid of all the old images and load two new per member and let the winner of the last contest (Stefan)
pick the 1st 2nd and third place??
Just a thought?

Joe,
I think it could work as long as the member is ok with giving justification for his/her decisions, and as long as the member is willing to consider critiques from other members in his/her decision-making process. The other challenge is that I haven't seen much of Stefan since his win; perhaps we should turn to Kevin since he was the winner before Stefan? What do others think?

Cindy and I have moved all of our old contest entries from past weeks. I encourage all others to do the same. I'll be posting new images this evening. I'd hate to spoil a perfect record of over two years of posting each and every week!

Just realized that if we have the winner pick the next week's contest, that could potentially skew the results in the favor of people who are expected to show up each week. Perhaps we should include a clause that in the event of the winner not returning to judge, the responsibilities fall to 2nd place and so on down the line? I'd hate to see this become a favoritism thing, if this ends up being what we go for.

I will be happy to take the reins this week. I will not post a shot this week. It's pretty late anyway. I would like to chose a 1st 2nd and 3rd place and explain my reason for choosing those photos. Remember this is subjective and only my opinion. Please don't be offended if you are not chosen. It is nothing personal. I will use the comments given to help me in making my selections.

The unfortunate thing is the shots won't be featured on the front page. I will start a thread in the forum to announce the winners and post a comment to those photos so the winners are informed.

Let me know if anyone has any suggestions.
