Problem with my Sony Camera DSC-T1 model

I have a Sony DSC-T1 Cyber-shot which can be viewed here: gotocol.com/sonydsct1.html

and when I turn on my Digital Camera it's takes me to the loading screen saying Cyber Shot. Then it goes to video screen and it shows complete black except for the battery life the recording limit and the picture of the battery etc. Happens with every settings. I can get into the Menu, but I don't see any option to fix this kind of problem? Is it useless now do I have to throw it away? I hope not. Can someone help me out here please?
