Well, as a newbie I still do not feel any better than when I commented earlier. I have learned some new and very nasty words that have been used. I am not pointing any fingers but I would suggest that with the vocabulary being used, you may want to look at the meanings. What has been written will certainly give one a clue as to how the person may be thinking and the manner in which they think……no pun intended.
If I could suggest one thing that may help solve this delimena, if you plan to leave, then say your good-byes and do so. If you plan to stay, then make your amends and do that also. This ongoing bantering will not do anyone any good because it is splintering the membership.
It's fun being a critic. You get to sit on the sidelines watching the foibles, antics, errors and sheer blunders made by others. While those involved in whatever is under the microscope are losing their heads, the critic can sit back and see the big picture, opining from the safety and anominity of the internet. This is not always a good thing!
Notwithstanding, I think everyone should remember that this is a free site and as members we have no right to impose our wishes and ways of seeing things on anyone else. I think some may have lost sight of that idea. A critique can be a simple as a few words. It may also be long and detailed. It is not what you say but how it is said. Words can be very cutting and harmful, or pleasant and kind. Make yours a wise choice!
Hope this might help.
