very nice.
i'm a newbie in astrophotography and i must confess i stink. I took some pics of one of the constellation last week and they all came out blurry. i had the tripod and cable release but i didn't get any decent shots.
It's very frustrating.
do you have any suggestion or advice ?

What kind of equipment do you use (telescope and camera). What shutter time did you use?

Raaf,
I have an 8" Celestron Ultima 2000 telescope.....for a camera I use my Nikon 5700.......I use the Scopetronix MaxView lens for an adapter to hook to the scope.....I also have and occassionally use an MX5C Starlight Express astro camera.
The shutter times are all different.....the moon is very short because of so much light the others are usually around a 1/15th or so......it really depends on the "seeing".
thanks for looking,
bud
