Off to Galveston for the week.

For those that may be care, I'll be leaving tomorrow for a short family vacation to Galveston, TX. I expect to be back by next Saturday with a boatload of pictures. I've got a 1 gig card and a just purchased 2 gig card so I'm feeling reasonably prepared, course I'm not packed yet or anything but the important stuff is taken care of. ;-)

I also received an early birthday present from my lovely wife and daughter. They wanted me to open it before the trip in case I wished to take it along. I am now the proud owner of a Cabelas photographer's vest. This thing has more pockets than I can count. I'll probably pack it but it is fairly heavy and I'm not sure how comfortable it will be in South Texas in late July. At any rate I'm feeling quite pleased and I can't wait to look the professional as I wear my vest with my shorts, black socks and sneakers.

Wishing you all a fabulous week and hopefully I'll have some nice ocean sunset/sunrise shots as well as some bird pics (Galveston has a plethora of bird sanctuaries surrounding it) when I return.

Youll enjoy that vest very handy for all the goodies a person needs and frees the hands Easy access Your going to wish you had more card space though! Take your top for downloading Have Fun!!! theres no Rush
