Negative Scanners

Alright, I recenty have been experimenting with digital photography (the last 5 months), but before that I had been doing 35mm black and white for about 3 years. Now with that being said I'm in the market for a negative scanner so I can get my 35mm negs into the computer and start working some digital magic with them, anyone know about them or have a prefrence? Any and all help would be appreciated, thanks.
