The photo challenge for June is 'Lighting'.

Lighting is obviously the most important part in photography as without it there's no photo.
However, don't just use lighting to take your photos but use it to creatively compose your shots using light as the main subject in your photo.
One good example is punwits photo contest winner where light has been used in a creative manor. Others could be silhouettes, the golden hours, high/low key etc.

Submission Guidelines for the ‘BytePhoto Monthly Photo Challenge' All photos are to be submitted via email to challenge@bytephoto.com

(i) Please use the title 'BytePhoto Challenge' for the subject line in your submissions

(ii) Limit two photos per member per challenge period

(iii) Include your BytePhoto user ID / member name

(iv) Please include a title for your photo

(v) File size less then one meg

(vii) File type .jpg

(viii) Stay on topic

(ix) Including a description for your photo is highly recommended – the how, where, why and technical details etc about your image - good details about the photo make it far more interesting for the viewer and may prompt more feedback

(x) Photos are to be taken during the challenge period - we at our sole discretion may allow images that are shot outside the challenge contest dates to remain posted .. this is done only to allow comment and critiques them .. they are not considered for the title of ‘challenge winner’.


FAQ

Q - I submitted my image and I don’t see it posted ?

A - It can take up to 72 hrs for your image to post .. if it has been longer than that it may be due to one or more of the following, File size is greater then one meg, Improper file format – file must be .jpg, Incomplete information – you must include your member name / id , Photo submitted is not on topic .. if you feel that your photo meets the guidelines and still has not been posted after 72hrs .. please send an inquiry email to challenge@bytephoto.com with the subject line ‘ photo not posted ‘ ..
