Darren, I liked this the moment I saw it. Looking at it on a larger size - it is even better. The exhaust from the train makes a great contrast to the foggy early morning sky. This was a nice capture. Congratulations on the win.

This was my pick - an outstanding photograph.
Congratulations, this is well deserved and should help set the bar high for upcoming contest entries.

Thank you all!
I so appreciate all the kind words and kudos but I'd be remiss if I didn't pass the congratulations back to you all. Being a part of this online community has definitely helped me grow as a photographer and I sincerely thank you one and all.
I'd also like to make an apology of sorts. I'd like to be commenting more on your photos but I'm having some distinctly uncomfortable arm and hand pain that is due to a repetitive stress injury caused by my vocation. Hopefully I'll be experiencing some relief soon with some physical therapy.
