Z760 Questions, New User

I like my camera. But now that I am using it, I have a few questions.

I have the camera set to acquire pictures with it's maximum resolution at 6.1Megapixels.

So how come on my computer, my files are smaller, between 800kB and 1.1kB?

Second, using Kodak's Easy Share Software, v6.2, is there a way via the software to delete all the photos manually, after I have transferred them? Be it, one at a time, or all of them at once??

Thanks

Look in the settings for the compression...its probably set fairly high.

As for for the Kodak Software...(I recommend Picasa..its better) But you can open up my Computer and navigate to the folder where Kodak stores your photos and delete the folder (s) that way.

Hope that helps.

Thanks for the info...I have tried Picasa, very briefly.

Why do you think it's better. I am not familiar with any of the companies products, and only moderately familiar with Kodak's....

So, I'm curious to see what you think the benefits are, as wella as minus's perhaps.
