I have images printed by my local lab onto Fuji Crystal Archive paper. Most of my customers, (I restore photographs), prefer 'traditional' photographs when asked.

A Combo
Most of my photos are taken with a film camera (Canon Rebel Ti, which I just love) and pics developed and printed at a local digital photo lab.
Then I bring them home, scan the good ones into the PC and print any copies I need with an Epson Stylus Photo 785 EPX (which I also love, especially when used eith Kodak Ultima paper).
SO, I voted for "at home" but that is technically only half true.

It depends. If I am doing photos of my wife and kids and have a photo that turns out very well then I will use my HP 7350 Photosmar printer. Basically it gets used for a few pics I really want and have put a lot of effort into.
When I just want to print several pics that I shot for fun (family gatherings etc...) then I will take them to Wal-Mart and use the Kodak 'Picture Maker' stand (the do-it-yourself thing). I do that because the 4x6 prints are cheap enough, and with the cost of print cartriges for my HP, the Kodak stand is probably cheaper in the long run.

A few are printed at home but a mojority to to one of two places. Bonusprint.com for personal use pictures or picturepackages.com for commercial work (you can only buy in packages here). For me, these labs offer the best deal for the money.

print my own
I print all my work at home on epson 1280. I cant see paying a lab to do it when i can make great pix on my own. If i was going to sell my work i would have to think that one over.
