I am honored to be even mentioned in the same catagory as Buddy and Carolyn! However, I can think of at least 2 dozen photographers that should share "photographers of the year." So many great folks are active members of this site, each willing to share ideas, mentor others, and give us all inspiration with their own photographs. This is a great little community of artists. Definatly the best learning experience I have ever had, and I know I will continue to grow as an artist as this site gets stronger and stronger. Well done all Byte photographers!

This was a pleasant surprise for me. I think Sam said things well relative to my feelings also. This is a great site and I have grown as a photographer by the advice, feedback and suggestions this board has given me. I thank all of you for viewing my shots and especially for commenting/ranking of my shots. It is an honor that you give me some of your time.

Now - the challenge is to make this group again next year ... and of course, to overtake Sam
