Digital Photo Professional

I upload my pictures off my Rebel XT onto my laptop into ZoomBrowser EX. Then I go into Digital Photo Professional and edit them a little bit. When I exit the program it asks if I want to save and I say YES. But when I try to open the pictures up they arent edited the way I edited them in Photo Pro.

Ok, I just messed with it a little more. I edited a picture, then went to File, convert and save. Then I have 3 options as to how to save it. Exif- JPEG, Exif- TIFF, or TIFF 16bit.

But I dont understand what the whole converting thing is about? Why is it that after I edit pictures, then click exit, and it says, "image was edited. Do you want to save? And I click on yes to all. Then I go to open the picture and its not edited.

Someone please explain to me how I should be saving the pictures after editing them in Photo Pro.
