S5200 (S5600) Grainy images a fault?

Hi.

I'm new to this forum so firstly say a big hi. Last week purchased a Fuji Finepix S5200/5600 from Argos for £112 which i though was an absolute bargain. I was really impressed until i transferred the images from the camera to the PC. All the images seem to turn out noisey/ grainy (not sure how to describe). Could this be the problem that has been mentioned in a few forums about CCD faults? I will contact Fuji tomorrow i think.

My last camera was a Nikon Coolpix 775 and the images i used to get from that were so crisp and sharp it was like you could almost touch them. I'm really talking about the good macro close-up shots i got which i really only used the Nikon for.

I have tried so many different settings like loweing the ISO to 64 and compensating with slower shutter speeds and this only helped slightly.

Here are the best images i could get (macro only, deleted the others), they always look as though they have been compressed (JPG) but they havn't. i have even tried RAW but hardly any better. What do the pro's think? I am fairly new so any help would be really appreciated, thanks guys.

Here are the images.
