I think everyone should consider what is written at that link each time we get up in the morning and apply it to everything we do, See, and dont understand.

An interesting read .. and I can’t disagree with his judgment of ‘critics’ … they can and often do stifle an artists growth ..
That said I have a qualm with the author ... in regards to what his opinion of the internet seems to be
I don’t feel that he has given sufficient due to the internet’s ability to accelerate an aspiring photographers skill set rapidly … in my estimation the knowledge that can be gained from positive feedback / constructive criticisms … from such a vast array of fellow photographers from around the globe .. That only the internet can provide … is well worth having to deal with the occasional unpleasant type of bullies / critics floating around cyberspace that seek only to tear apart another’s work ..
Be it an art exhibit, the theater, a sports event or even your work place.. There have always been and likely always will be a small number of people with caustic opinions.. that are negative by nature and seek opportunities to be harsh critics of nearly everything …
Imho .. the internet hasn’t created them … it’s simply given them a larger audience ..
so I say .. In this day of the internet … the age old axioms .. ‘consider the source’ and ‘take it with a grain of salt’ have never been truer …
