Just in case everyone didn't notice
All your great pictures are getting
"Double Exposure" so to speak
http://www.renlarmedia.com/
http://www.bytecamera.com/
both sites obviously sister sites of Byte and part of Paul and Stephens vision

Paul,
Thank you for letting each of us feel that we are an important part of this site. You have given us all "ownership" by putting our "Galleries on Parade". I for one feel very proud to see my images displayed as part of the promotion of such a great community. Thanks for all the work you do to let us continue to grow as photographers and artists.
Sam
Sam, thank you for your uplifting post .. .. I very much do feel … that bytephoto is ‘the members site’ .. we are simply the caretakers .. and I appreciate all that many of you do to keep bytephoto a thriving community ..

Ha .. Ruth .... you have discovered my diabolical plan to take over the realm of digital cameras on he internet .. but please don’t blame those sites on Stephen .. I’m sure he cringes at my lack of graphic arts skills
RenLarMedia .. is simply a central domain to administrate a banner server from … and it’s come in quite handy for our ‘Galleries on Parade’ … the other sites all have somewhat different target audiences and utilize different approaches to SEO …also they offer me place to try things out .. before I try to implement them here
There is in my estimation.. three primary ways to generate traffic on the internet
1) Buy the traffic with advertising .. that’s simply not in the budget here at byte for any major push in that direction
2) get the traffic organically via the various search engines .. we have done well in this area .. as has bytecamera.com
3) virally – and this one is the big kahuna .. is were members / visitors of a site go out email their friends, rave about it on other sites and link pages to the various social book marking type sites floating around such as http://del.icio.us/ http://www.digg.com
… youtube is a great example of viral growth .. Within a very short time after a video is posted …. links to it have found there way into ten’s of thousands email boxes .. as well the links being posted into thousands of forums around the world

Choose Me
Guess I've been busy bouncing off the walls (and camping) and never saw this.....
Feel free, but please use my name:
Carolyn Guild rather than shootem....
And let me add Kudos to all the hard work, and say the Sheila's title ROCKS

I don't even deserve to be on the same contest page.
Maybe after a few more months of instruction from... oh yeah...
shootem, beamertg
you could start a b4 and after series...
Seriously any help that my photos can bring could only scratch the service of the help that I have received from all on this site.
Paul, thanks for your efforts this is a Top Shelf site that I am fortunate to have stubbled across and hope to provide some additional blocks out there to make it even better.
Scott.

Didn't see this string before. Feel free to use my shots. BTW, I have enjoyed re-living some of the "greatest hits" shown at the top this week.

Your banner is up and running …. For now I used just still life’s from your gallery .. we can change it later if you would like ...
but I ... hope that I can use your gallery as an example .. for the December photo challenge … bnilesh .. the winner of the November challenge … has selected ‘still life’ as our December topic … and although we did that topic a short while back it was not well received ..
hopefully with a little encouragement and your gallery as an inspiration we can get some great participation this go around ..
