help
Does anybody here want to grant me permission to use thumbnails ( about 150px x 150px ) of a few of their photos …. to create a random rotating image advertising block on our sister site www.bytecamera.com .. the purpose of the advert is to draw interest in our photo contests and challenge here at bytephoto … the thumbnails would include the photographers byte user id or name whichever they prefer …

I have no problem with it..........
Also, let me take a moment and thank you for the extra work I've seen in the past two weeks on improving the site. I think the newsletters are a great idea and like the way you are encouraging other members to vote each week. I just checked and saw that 56 members have already cast their votes on the finals this week. There were some weeks when I would see barely 20 votes cast. It appears that you have taken some ideas and requests posted here and are making some good changes.
So, thanks for all you do!

Paul,
I checked out the link. I like it. The photos change with each selection of a different topic. Nice job.

Pauil, you have my permission.
Byte continues to be my site of choice and if any of my images would help promote it I'm delighted.
This site is run responsibly and with a firm and even hand and I appreciate that and all that you do to maintain the high standard.

Paul.
I'm happy for you to select any you'd find suitable from my gallery.
Great to see you back and so prevalent on the site. I think the members have missed this for several months. You'll find that people are coming back and it appears you have quite a gaggle of new members also.
Happy to promote.
Graham

First I’d like to thank everyone that has so graciously granted me permission to use thumbs of their images …
At the top of the page here at byte you can see one of the preliminary designs using some of your images rotating in .. …
feel free to laugh at my lack of graphics arts skills …
if anyone desires that I remove their images you may email me privately ...
If anyone else would like to grant me permission let me know … I’d like to do a series of them and have them rotating in different positions around the sites

Looks pretty good to me Mr Larson, well done.
There's a bit of space off to the left (not a criticism) did you extend the page with the new photos and the byte logo?
It seems 'that' much extra area to look at...and I think it may be that there's the ads top and bottom which occupy space (on some pages). Not it's an inconvenience, but more that it doesn't seem as integrated (yet, anyway) I say this knowing it's in it's preliminary stages.
On this page (post reply) it's good, you can see the images as you type. On some others it's (and the byte logo) may be a bit high and dry - bit of scrolling involved.
Not a complaint Paul, just pure feedback, and I figure that you'll see it this way, and it's great to see them there...good pick this time round btw lol
Thanks for to opportunity to assist.
