Sony Cybershot H2

Well I've been owning this camera for a few months now. I recently picked up the job as head photographer at my high school. Well I'm covering football events lately, but now I am doing volleyball too(indoor)

What is a good setting/mode to use for shooting indoor sport events. I currently use my high shutter speed setting, it takes pictures at 1000 setting. But it has very poor lighting. I really need to find a setting good for indoor shooting since basketball season is coming up etc.

indoor

naturally raise the ISO but alas goes up the noise so if that is a bad thing for you then try shooting in B/W to lessen the effect of hot pixels. play around with the iso and see what is the minimum you can shoot at to freeze the action..
