HELP - My Head is Swimming!!!
Hi All,
I'm buying a new compact digital P & S camera - I thought for sure I was going to own the Canon SD800IS. However, now I'm reading all sorts of negatives about the camera.
Someone mentioned Nikon. Someone else mentioned Lumix (but they say the photos have too much noise)---
See what I mean - HELP!!!
Basically, this is what I'm looking for:
Sharp photos in and out ---
IS
Ability to zoom - (at least as same the Sony T30)
Not a Sony (time to get away from Sony)
Preferably an ultra compact
Be able to see LCD in sunlight
Thanks to everyone in advance - I hope to have this decided by the end of the week!!

Great camera but not portable enough - I need something small -
Thank you for the suggestions though...

Excellent suggestion - looked at it. The LCD is quite difficult to see in the bright of day - also, still a bit big for a constant travel companion...
Sorry - don't mean to be picky

I think it is a bit unrealistic to find a camera with an LCD that will give you great views in bright light. Most LCD's and bright light do not mix.
