Hi Ray

You seem to have a problem with me posting a comment on my sons picture. For your information I have two sons who are members at Byte and this is the first time if my memory serves me correctly that I have commented on any of their images. He entered the contest and after a while it looked like he was struggling to get a comment. When I saw my 10 year old son revisiting the site every ten minutes excited and in eager anticipation of a comment with none forthcoming I decided to comment myself just to cheer him up and give him that little bit of encouragement he deserved. I have no problem with other members not commenting on his picture just explaining why I did.

Both my sons are told they are not to comment on my pictures and they are also told not to vote for my pictures if I am ever lucky enough to be selected for the final six. I also sent a pm to admin some time ago that if Liam did ever vote on one of my pictures to remove the vote.

How you think any of this degrades Bytephoto as a place for photographers in any way amazes me. I haven't seen any other father son comments but if there are what possible harm can it do.

I actually feel sorry for you. You strike me as a very sad, bitter and negative individual who just doesn't know when to let go. Why you stick around this site when there are so many things about it you are obviously unhappy about, is beyond me.

If you are a "real photographer" as you call it, then for your own sake go out, take some pictures and share them at a site that fulfills your needs as this one obviously doesn't.

Bradford or ? — You must be too broke to pay attention... If you had been, you would have noticed that very few pictures are actually receiving ratings. And that the ADMIN has taken over (and rightly so) the chore of picking the top 6. I'd have to think they are probably as qualified (if not more so) to do so.....

It's a sad day when a family member gets dissed for commenting on a sons (or daughter, or husband, or wife, or brother or sisiter.....) work.

And just what exactly qualifies you as a "real photographer"????? And disqualifies others??????

As Matt mentioned, there are tons of other sites out here in cyberland.... why hang around here and complain?

Bradford, this is one of the most mean spirited posts to ever appear here. You must be a bitter man and I pity you that you walk around carrying such sourness inside you.

You have never, that I know of, posted an image to byte ~ at least not under this name.

I fear you are bogus, Bradford.

There is no more generous contributer to this site than Matt and it is to your shame that you write as you do about this kind man and his family.

All children deserve our attention, encouragement and respect and the members here are according them that.

You must not be a REAL photographer, so far every photographer I have met online and some even personally from Canada on down to TN has been a kind hearted person, that description doesnt fit YOU
