 Z650 question/help

I have brought the Z650 camera which I really like but I can't find any way to turn the auto focus off. I mean, I want to take a picture of the full moon t he other night but when I tried it kept trying to lock in with the [ ] focus and wouldn't work. How can I turn this off or make the focus infernite ?
