Olympus FE-150

I have just bought a new camera Olympus FE-150. There is a problem that the time to catch photo is so slow. I can not take a photo at the moment i want. Is it possible to modify setting option? Many thanks for your support.

Due to the camera¡¯s extreme simplicity, the external controls are very basic. The other main controls, for the flash mode (four options), exposure compensation, 10 second self-timer and macro focusing, are all secondary functions on the D-pad. The only other buttons are delete, quick print and the menu button.
