Lens spot
I have a DSC-P100. I've noticed that it is taking pictures fine except it has a dot exactly in the middle of each picture. It may be dust, but Im not sure. It there anyway to take apart the lens and clean it or should I take it in?
heres an example of what it does..

it might be condensation on the inside.
Since this camera isnt a DSLR? you cant take off the lens.
Did you go out into the heat and then later back into the cold airconditioning or vice versa?
That has happened to me when I used my Olympus C750.
Eventually it dried out and no longer showed up.

I'm assuming you cleaned the outside of the lens glass with lens cleaner and a soft cloth?
If you did and its still there, I would send it in for repair if its still under warrenty

hi, i had just the same problems with me cybershot p150
if you look at your photo again there are other faint spots on there also. i mainly noticed my spots on full zoom.
i sent mine off and they said there is a sensor that needs replacing behind the lens. think he called it a ccd sensor or something. anyway they wanted about £160.00 to repair it.
in the end i bought a new p200.
i was quite cheesed off with the p150 as i had only had it about 1 1/2 years and it cost £250.00
