Hello all,

I am looking for info regarding various lenses. When I look in catalogs or online I see a 70x300 for $220, but then I see another 70x300 for $400 or more.

So my question is, where do I find good information regarding the various lenses available and why I would want to spend more on the more expensive lens. I know it would be "better", but I need to know the why.

This area is new to me since I have only shot with Elph cameras or my old F717.
