Choices Choices...
Alright, so I've been looking at various DSLRs, looking to get my first one.
I looked around through various internet sites to find something that will work for me (beginner leaning towards intermediate, I'd say...). So far two cameras have really caught my eye. The Nikon D50 and the Canon Digital Rebel XT.
First let me state that I really like the Canon Digital Rebel XT, but it may be a bit too pricey for me.. The thing is, by my next paycheck I'll have about $650-700 to spend on a digital SLR... but with it I'll want to get a memory card (around 1 GB), a decent-good multi-purpose lens(28-200mm maybe), and possibly a bag... I don't think getting this camera will allow my budget.
The D50 on the other hand is about $100 cheaper, allowing me to buy the necessary accessories. Plus, I can't really see a THAT big of a difference in what both cameras can do.
So annnyways.. please give your opinions as to what I should do. If you're a fan of either, why? Is the Canon worth going over my budget for? Should I stick with value?
Any and all comments appreciated.
