I have an Olympus MJU 700 with a 1gb Olympus xd card.
I was at my sisters wedding yesterday, took a couple of photos as she was on her way to the church, a few minutes later I turned the camera on again to take some more pictures and a message appeared saying that it was write protected. I change the camera to view mode and it said that there were no pictures. I have no idea how or why this has happened, one minute the camera was working fine, i turned it off and on again and then it seems to have switched on write protection and wiped all of my photos from the card.

Has this happened to anyone else? Is it likely that all my pictures have been wiped? How do i turn write protection on and off? If anybody could help me with this i would be forever in your debt.
