From a manual SLR to my computer?? Please Help!

I have a pentax manual 35mm SLR that takes wonderfull pictures but my problems is trying to get them on to my pc so I can edit and print them. I've tried having wallgreens put then on cd when they get developed but they just are not clear. So if anybody has any ideas on how I can go from film to cd that's not really expensive - please, please let me know!! Thank you so much!

Try using Walmart.
I used them many times before I had my first digital camera and they did a good job. No CD, they scan the images as they are processed and put them on their website. When you pick up your pictures, there's a coupon with a serial number on it to access your photos on line and download them.
It's been a few years since I've used their service, but it cost about $1 extra when processing a roll of film.
