I am contemplating either the Canon 350D or the Nikon D50 as an entry level option and cannot make my mind up, obviously opinions will vary, however, I am interested in landscape photography (beaches, countryside, forests etc) and were wondering which would be better suited...if this is possible

Ricardo, I can tell you that I have very little problem with my D50 (apart from discovering the 2000 features it's equipped with! ) My focus is also landscapes and everything in my gallery since August 2005 http://www.bytephoto.com/photopost/...php?ppuser=2484 and most of my Rocky Mountain Gallery on my website www.photoswithfinesse.com (page 3 is all Nikon D50)were taken with the D50 too. (So was page 1 of Scenic Travels). I'm sure the Canon is a good camera too - just haven't used one.
