Time to introduce myself finally :-)

Well I wanted to wait a bit to introduce myself and so far this place has been real kewl and everyone is really nice so I thought it was time to make a formal introduction.

My names Chris and have been a huge photography fan since my dad gave me a pentax ME super when I was about 7 years old. I've finally upgraded to a real digital camera with the aquisition of a Pentax ist DL, which I love to death!!!

All the pictures in my gallery right now are with my old sony P8 and I have a ton of new pics to add once I fix my copy of photoshop (rare bug with a temp file killed my version so waiting for my copy of CS2 to come in) and get to edit them a bit.

Hopefully I meet some more nice people here and gain lots of needed advice so hope to meet any of you and comment on all of your amazing pictures!

I started out on a Pentax P2 which I loved, I now adore my Fuji

Nice to meet you the two of ya! This place pretty much rocks and I can't wait to go out and start taking some new pics with all the great new ideas I have from what I've seen in the galleries and photo contests. Welcome, Chris,

I have an Olympus 5050 but recently bought the Panasonic FX30 because I wanted a big zoom. I like both cameras and use them for different things.

Nice to meet you Chris and welcome. Looking forward to your posts! My first camera was a Voigtlander - fully manual but as a 7 year old I loved it too. My passion has been renewed with digital as I can now afford to 'bracket' LOL!
