how to make Infrared effect in PS ?

Anybody here can share how to make the beaufitull infrared effect in PS ?

I searched for an answer and this was as close as I got.

"Open the curves dialog box.
Image>adjust>curves Or press Ctrl/Cmd+M
Choose the pencil tool and make short dashes across the window as shown.

Click ok and you basically have the effect. Simple huh? The base colors even remain the same. What we have done, is inverted tiny segments of the image. You can make this as detailed as you wish, just by adding more dashes."

It's by Colin Smith from the NAPP web site.

I've never tried to do this so good luck!

If its Black and White Infrared effects there are some actions available from www.mountphotography.com/actions.htm that are very good
