nikon 4300
Is there is any one else in this group that has this camera? Or am i the only one on this planet that has one.LOL I dont see to many people talk about it or what they do or dont like. Also i dont see anyone post a photo saying it came from the 4300. I find this a great middle of the road camera. A easy to use point and shoot or a great camera to learn manual set ups. Iam still learnig the manual stuff. This camera will give a great macro photo without a lot of work, see some my pix that i have marked taken with 4300.Thanks picnet

YOU ARE NOT ALONE! My fiance just bought me this very camera last weekend. I have already taken 400+ pictures with it and still haven't begun to attempt learning the manual settings. One baby step at a time for this beginning photographer.
I have taken some pretty incredible pictures with it and have to say I am impressed with the quality.

I do agree that Nikon does a great work on MACRO/closeup shot. Bought my Nikon CP4300 last May and quite satisfied with its performance. But, what really bothers me could be the picture downloading timing. I've upgraded my original 16M CF card to 256M CF card. I found that it takes about 3-4sec to do the downloading. Do you guys encountered such problem on your Nikon 4300?

Hi Vuzu,
Wonderful pictures you shared!
Yes I too have a delay on picture downloading. Like you I upgraded to a 256 card and it still had the delay so then I formatted the card while it was in the camera and it made a huge difference in transfer time to the memory card and also corrected the speed of the auto focus.
