I was hoping that someone out there could help me. I need a camera that will take action photos in low light settings. My daughter is a gymnast and I'm needing a camera that will work in a gym setting where light can be a problem. I've tried several cameras and the photos are either blurry or dark and when I try to lighten them they are distorted and contain a lot of noise. Please recommend something that will work in this setting. Thanks!

First things first, welcome to Byte. Grab a chair and have a seat. Fist question- do you want a point and shoot or a digital SLR? Answer this and it will be easier to point you in the right direction. Also, what's your budget? I could set ya up with a great lowlight setup for around six thousand, but I doubt you wanna go that high.

I'd rather have a point and shoot if that's possible. I haven' t really set a budget- but to be honest, I'd like to keep the cost to a minimum. So, I guess I would need an "affordable" easy to use camera.
