I agree, this is a good move and I will breathe llife into the critique section and make it a valuable resource to everyone. Thank you, Stephen. I think it's now important to let members know what's going on.
Sheila.

Tony,
I fully agree there ... and I'll see what I can do about the direct link.
However, I do believe that before posting to the contest, members should take great care about every detail in their submitted photos, and if there are modifications done, members should move the photo to the desired "Edited Photos" category, otherwise if we include the new rule disallowing these editions during the contest, these photos should be reported to the admins and disqualified from the contest. It's only fair IMO.
What do you think ?

Sheila,
I agree that it's important to let members know what is going on, and I know we've been rather absent recently, but unfortunately due to various reasons including professional work and mainly personal problems where I'm concerned, time and motivation had been limited. I havn't even taken a "real" photo for months now. Only family souvenir snapshots.
Soon to be announced will be the "Holiday Contest" winner, the "Best of Bests" and a poll about the new "Photo Challenge" idea that was kindly proposed by Matt.
Thanks again to all the members who have taken the time to provide some input here on the subject, and as Tony quite rightly says, "the camel is the result of design by committee".

A thought, could a link be the 'Edited Area" from the Contest Comments so that a direct view of the changes would be available?
Tony
I've added an area just below the "Allow Photo Modifications" option where members may add the link to the edited photo.
For example yoo may see it for Sheilas photo here.

Could the link between to original and the edited version be set as a button?
Thanks for all your efforts.

Tony,
I've looked into your suggestion but there's too much code to change, so I suggest the best place to add the link is in the "Photo Description" area.
I've removed the "Link to Edited Photo:" option, because of the aforementioned reason.

I was afraid of that, but had to ask. Thanks for all your efforts. Let's hope the aims are achieved through a photo's description.
