I saw the extensive thread about the KM dimage 7i problem with the ccd chip. Well I have an issue as well. I bought a second hand 7i for my daughter a couple of months ago. Now when she fires it up we hear a repeating opening and closing of the shutter, but we are not able to stop this.

Is this a common issue? Has anyone else had this problem before?

Any suggestions are welcome, of course!!
