Kodak Z650 Announced.

So Kodak announced the Z650 just before the start of the consumer electronics show on the 3rd. This thing has 10x optical, with this new share button for tagging photos.

Not much on the web about it yet, kodak's offical page and here's another kodak z650 page.

Anyone thinking about getting this camera?

I looked it over. Not bad, but not for me.

This is what I want in my next rig.

Give me a "DX7590" and add a Histogram, 2 second timer, also a two shot timer at 2 and 10 seconds, 7.0mp, and please add a port (jack) for remote shutter, and the fun time lapse mode, give us a slower shutter speed say to 2 min, an auto focus assist lamp, and they can name it the Z7790. Hey and why not bring the zoom up to 12X. Then they can name the thing the Z7712.

Leave everything else about the rig alone. Don't touch the PASM modes. Don't move controls around just to move them. No need to change the body color many of us like BLACK. No need to delete any functions. Leave all five color modes. Don't hide any jacks under the battery door. I don't care if it has IS or not. I would have a remote shutter and a 2 second timer. I already have a few tripods

Go to KODAK.COM, and if they list an adapter, and lens in the assy's for this rig then you can.
