Sony DSCP32 - Buttons not working

My Sony DSC-P32 camera is not responding properly when pressing the buttons for Flash, view last picture taken, timer, etc.

I pressed the reset button and when I turn it on now it comes up with the date and time setting screen and I can move down the options but I can't select anything using the other necessary buttons.

Any ideas or known fixes for this issue? Or am I just the proud owner of a broken camera!!
